About Us

This website started from a very common student problem. I am Sourabha Kumar Sahu, a B.Tech student in Electrical Engineering from Odisha. During my college days, I faced the same confusion that most students face. Different universities use different formulas. Some say multiply by 9.5. Some say 10. Some use custom rules. There was no single place that explained things clearly.

Because of this confusion, I decided to build a small tool for myself. The aim was very clear. One place where a student can enter CGPA and get the correct percentage without guessing or using random formulas from different blogs.

What started as a personal project slowly turned into something bigger.

Gradually, my college friends joined me. Today, CGPA2Percentage.com is maintained by a small group of students and professionals working together. Some members of our team are business professionals, GATE qualified engineers, corporate professionals, MBA graduates, and educators from well-known coaching institutions. Everyone brings real world academic and professional experience to this platform.

We understand student problems because we come from the same background. We know how stressful applications, forms, interviews, and eligibility checks can be when your percentage is not clear.

We continuously update our tools based on real university guidelines, student feedback, and official grading systems wherever available. Our aim is not traffic. Our aim is usefulness.

This project is still growing. We are still learning. But the intention remains the same from day one. Make academic calculations less confusing and more reliable for students and professionals.
